Villa wary of Rooney threat

Aston Villa skipper Martin Laursen has pinpointed Wayne Rooney as Manchester United's dangerman ahead of Saturday's meeting of the two sides.
The Midlands club host United at Villa Park looking to condemn the champions to a similar fate suffered by Arsenal last weekend when they won 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
But before they can think about another high-profile three points, Laursen has warned his team-mates to be wary of Rooney, who is expected to return to the United line-up following an absence through illness.
"They have such a wealth of talent up front and can turn defence into attack so quickly," the Denmark defender told the club's official website.
"Rooney is the one that stands out. He has done brilliantly for the club since he joined from Everton.
"He has unbelievable skill and obvious talent but people don't realise how hard he works. It's not just about creating chances and scoring goals.
"He defends from the front and that's so important in a successful side.
"Going forward, he can make goals from anywhere."
