Steve Foster became a proffesional in 1998 as he came through the Crewe youth academy. He is a former schoolboy international for England. He made his debut in the 98/99 season but didnt break into the team on a regular basis until the following season as he hade 22 appearances. He has since made over 200 appearances for the club and missed only one game in the 03/04 season. He was one of the clubs most consistant players the following season but a knee injury forced his to sit out the end of the season and Crewe managed to hold onto him. He is still being monitored closely by Premiership cllubs and could be snapped up in the Summer.
