Brighton & Hove Albion boss Micky Adams was a happy man after seeing his side brush Barnet aside 4-0 in the first round of the Carling Cup.
The Seagulls scored all four of their goals in the first half at the Withdean Stadium and Adams wants to see Albion go as far as possible in the competition.
He told the club's official website: "I'm thrilled. The level of performance was there, particularly in the first half and it was a comfortable win.
"We want to go as far as we can in the competition, winning games breeds confidence. A winnable tie in round two will do nicely. Let's see how far we can go in the competition.
"I'm pleased for the team, because they have worked hard in pre-season. People tend to forget that.
"You've got to understand what footballers go through in pre-season, it takes a lot out of them, but what we are doing is gearing up for the start of the season.
"Here we are, we've got two wins on the bounce and we want to maintain that on Saturday."
