Attitude pleases Capello

Fabio Capello was pleased with the attitude of his players as England cruised to a comfortable 3-0 friendly international victory against Trinidad and Tobago.
Two goals in the opening quarter of the match by Jermain Defoe and Gareth Barry put England in control against their young opponents and a third goal by Defoe early in the second period confirmed a straightforward win.
Capello was happy to secure a third victory in his four games in charge since replacing Steve McClaren as head coach, saying: "I think we played a good game and all the players showed a good attitude and good concentration.
"In the first half we scored two goals quickly and we followed that up by showing good concentration, which was very important.
"For us the visit to play here in very warm weather has been a very good exercise and I am very happy because we played a very good game.
"We had a lots of chances to score goals and there was only one chance for Trinidad and Tobago. This is very good for me. They did everything I asked of them.
"It is not easy at this stage, the finish of the season, to play away but the attitude of the players was very good.
"They have been very good in training. It is very different, playing friendly games to training, and I saw a lot of positive things.
"I am pleased with the four games. Every game we have gone forward step by step. Every game for me has been very important. Every game we are getting better.
"I am very happy because the players that stayed with the team came here and played very well. I have learnt a lot. I know better the players, the players know me better. I know the characteristics of the players during the games. This is very important.
"I hope we will be even better and for the qualifiers we will be OK."
