Falkirk are still waiting to find out whether they have been successful in trying to tempt striker Steve Lovell to join the club.
The 27-year-old is a free agent after being allowed to leave Aberdeen at the end of last season and Lovell recently spent three days with the Bairns during their pre-season training camp in the Netherlands.
Manager John Hughes told the club's official website: "Steve had a great three days with us, getting to know the squad and it was a good opportunity for us to assess him at close quarters.
"Steve would be a great addition to the squad and he has gone home to weigh up his options."
Lovell has also played in Scotland with Dundee, having previously featured for Sheffield United, Exeter City, Portsmouth and Bournemouth south of the border.
