Hartlepool United forward James Brown is desperate for his club to extend the loan stay of Coventry City striker Kevin Kyle.
The 27-year-old Scotland international has scored three times in six appearances for Pools, helping Danny Wilson's side to record four consecutive victories.
Brown told the Hartlepool Mail: "Kevin is starting to play really well and myself and Joel Porter have a good understanding with him, he wins his share of headers up front.
"It's no coincidence we have won four in a row with him in the team and we all hope he can stay."
Kyle had fallen well down the pecking order with the Sky Blues, having ended last season out on loan at Wolves.
