Cristiano Ronaldo has vowed to make amends for his penalty miss against Barcelona and fire Manchester United into the Champions League Final.
The 38-goal winger missed a third minute penalty in the first leg of Wednesday's goalless semi-final first leg at the Camp Nou after firing his spot-kick comfortably wide.
But the Portugal international fired an ominous warning to Barcelona that he is ready to make amends in next Tuesday's return leg at Old Trafford.
"I scored a few penalties in that side but today I didn't score - no problem," he said.
"Now I'm going to score in Manchester."
Meanwhile Ronaldo, who also felt he should have been awarded a second penalty later in the first half when he was barged over by Rafael Marquez, has backed United to progress to next month's Moscow final.
"It was a tough game. Barcelona played very well, they kept the ball a lot, but I think we defended well," he continued.
"We played well as well. Nil-nil is a good result.
"Now we're playing at home, I think we're going to win."
